finding out where those pics were taken

1945 and/or before 2006
flakscheinwerfer.jpg (31391 Byte) picture below shows c sqn block. Theese places are not the same.
flakscheinwerfer2.jpg (22397 Byte) exflagscheinwerfer1.jpg (20272 Byte)
this is hq sqn block. fits OK, doesn't it?
details1.jpg (12555 Byte) just to point out 2 details:

1. that roof is only just hidden behind trees now, but it is there.
2. that piece of roof between the roofs will be enlarged in next pic.

details2.jpg (8271 Byte) if you look close enough, you'll find that triangle (as in here marked black).
between_hq_and_pri.jpg (79454 Byte) now going past them trees to see if there is any such thing in real...
between_hq_and_pri2.jpg (46263 Byte) seems like...
6to7.jpg (43890 Byte) ...it's that gable with the clock!
beidepics.jpg (20530 Byte) you will find, that theese 2 photos were taken from the same spot. especially you might want to compare common windows.
this one still fits into the newer shot.
details3.jpg (25573 Byte)

7. circeled aerea: this looks like a door and 2 or 3 steps
8. a cellar window
9. drainage pipe
10. a lightning conductor

details3now.jpg (24744 Byte) drainage, conductor and cellar window are still there, the door has vanished.
one does clearly see though:

1. that window beeing built deeper into the wall than the others.
2. the surface of the whole aerea around the window being plastered with different material.
3. the unplastered bottom part of the wall being brighter than the rest. Theese stones must be newer or have been covered a long time.

then and now - the supposed flower bed entrance

flowerbed.jpg (21641 Byte) 1979 nobeet.jpg (42330 Byte) 2006
nobeet2.jpg (71043 Byte)  it's still obviously uneven at a squary aerea.

This is where most likely the flower bed was.

They even marked the edges with 2 Ks.

 Kein Eingang?

just now

bftv.jpg (19649 Byte) behindguardroom.jpg (58295 Byte)

building_pa_23b.jpg (44640 Byte)
building_pa_23c.jpg (41228 Byte)

concrete.jpg (45454 Byte)
no_petrol.jpg (49796 Byte) dear manuel-o.de - was there and took the smaller photo. Then came Horst.

weedes31_37.jpg (50756 Byte)
